Twenty-One Armed Insurgents Killed

Kabul (BNA) Afghan National Army Forces launching clearing operations during the last 24 hours killed 21 armed insurgents.
National defense ministry press office reported BNA; ANA forces conducting the operations in Ghazni and Kunduz provinces killed 21 insurgents, arrested 21 suspicious.
In the operations weapons and ammunitions captured.
Also ANA forces discovered and defused 32 different kinds of mines.
According to another report, as a result of a road side mine explosion 3 ANA soldiers martyred.
Likewise, a group of six armed Taliban led by Commander Abdul Qayoom joined peace process in Balablok district of Farah province yesterday.
Jawid Karger Farah police spokesman said BNA; these people were carrying earlier terrorist activities in that district, with understanding the reality and national reconciliation joined to the government.
According to the source, these people handed over their weapons including 7 Kalashnikovs and a Pk machine gun to the government.
