MoPH: Positive Cases of COVID-19 Decrease 12 Percent in Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) In the 34th week of COVID-19 outbreak, positive cases of the virus has been decreased 12 percent in Afghanistan.
Akmal Samsour spokesperson of Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 40 new positive cases of COVID-19 from 325 samples tested within the last 24 hours in Afghanistan.
According to Samsour, three patients died due to coronavirus and 61 patients recovered within the last 24 hours in the country.
With this, the total cases are now 38,243 the total reported deaths are 1,409 and total recoveries are 29,315 in Afghanistan, Samsour added.
Nobody has died due to coronavirus during the current week in capital Kabul, Samsour further added.
Officials in Ministry of Public Health reported that 7,519 active cases of COVID-19 among patients at under their care as Wednesday morning in Afghanistan.
It is mentionable that until now 103,199 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.
