HERAT(BNA) The Women’s Chamber of Commerce in Herat called for the return of women to industry and commerce.
In a meeting with the director of information and culture of Herat, the officials of this chamber also asked the Islamic Emirate to further support women’s trade and to provide the ground for selling their products in world markets.
Maulana Naeem al-Haq Haqqani, Herat’s director of information and culture, called women a key figure in Islamic society and said that the Islamic Emirate is working to find a way for women to have a strong presence in various fields, including education, work and trade.
