Kabul (BNA) The General Directorate of Presidential Affairs said in a newsletter, according to the decree of the Presidential Office, Lt. Hamidullah Farooqi has been appointed as the Minister of State for Martyrs and Disabled with his membership in the cabinet meetings of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and with the protection of the rights of the scientific staff.
Haimdullah Farooqi once was Minister of Transport and Aviation and later served as President of Kabul University for several years.
