Kabul (BNA) Two local commanders of Taliban along with their 4 men were arrested in an operation carried out by Afghan and foreign troop in Kandahar province last night.
The commanders were targeted in their hideouts in the outskirts of Arghistan and Panjwai districts.
BNA quoting NATO reports said, the commanders were blamed for terrorist attacks in parts of the mentioned districts.
Also, they were responsible for providing weapons and financial facilities for Taliban.
One of the commanders was professional in making bombs and suicide vests.
Meanwhile NATO said they seized 2 weapons depots.
In a similar incident, three armed Taliban were killed when they attacked a convoy of Afghan and foreign forces in Arghistan district.
