Air & Ground Raids Leaves 28 Rebels Dead

PUL-E-KHUMRI CITY (BNA) At least 28 anti-government militias were killed during air and ground attacks carried out by Afghan security forces in northern Baghlan province.
Col. Mohammad Wais Samimi police chief of Baghlan told BNA correspondent, the insurgents have been targeted in Dand Ghori, Dand Shahabuddin, Kelagi regions of Pul-e-Khumri city the provincial capital of the province.
Mawlavi Haji Khan in-charge of military commission for Taliban group in Dand Ghori, Mawlavi Anwar shadow judge of Taliban, Eng. Sour Gul a top leader of Taliban, Sayed Mohammad known as Eisa Khail, Mawlavi Mukhlis and two foreign citizens were among the dead, Samimi added.
More than 30 armed oppositions including Qari Bakhtuyar so-called deputy governor of Taliban for Baghlan province were wounded during the assaults, Samimi further added.
Meanwhile, 75 round of different type of mines have been discovered and naturalized during the raids, Samimi concluded.
