A Seminar “Kapisa In The Course Of History” To Be Held

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by Information and Culture Minister Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen, the session of the preparatory commission for holding of seminar of “Kapsia in the Course of History” was formed yesterday. 
The ministry of Information and Culture considers that in continuation of holding national and international seminars, a seminar in the name of “Kapisa in the Course of History” be held in upcoming spring. 
At the beginning of session, Dr. Raheen elucidated that Panjsheer and Parwan also are enumerated as part of special cultural and civilization of Kapisa zone that was named as northern Kabulistan. 
According to Dr. Raheen, in ancient time, Kapisa was the capital city of Kushanids emperors and was enjoying from extra-ordinary importance. 
After the emergence of Islam Important from that Imam Zam (PBUH) is related to this region. 
As Kapisa was part of Kabulistan, so Imam Azam was named as Kabuli in the history of Islam. 
Minister of Information and Culture asked the session members to focus their attention towards introduction of short history of this region and its role in creation of Islamic civilization as well as the role of these three provinces in the course of democracy and constitutionalism. 
At the end, the participants held session that was chaired by Ustad Haidari Wojodi and elected 21 persons as members of the commission.
