Kabul (BNA) Mother is the God’s big gift for humanity. The concession of all successes and honors reach to mothers and the relations of affection and love begin from motherhood; therefore, a day is celebrated internationally for appreciating and praising mother.
Most of the western countries mark the day on May second, while this year the day was celebrated on May eight, but most of other countries celebrate the day in different dates.
Afghanistan as a rich cultural country is celebrating the day at a time when there exists enough awareness related to high position of mother, but a large number of mothers still have various problems in the country.
Respecting to mother and giving importance to them is key and fundamental for completion of moral and social system. Therefore, the Ministry of Information and Culture is calling on religious Ulema, writers, media and social leaders to fulfill their responsibilities in a better way for better introduction of high position of mother and improvement of their life.
