Kabul (BNA) The spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry said that the Afghan government has asked Pakistan to release from prisons those Taliban who can impact the peace process.
Formerly reports existed that Afghanistan had asked Pakistan for the release of Mallah Brother Akhund.
Talking to the press he added that the government of Afghanistan wants release of those prisoners of the Taliban by Pakistan who can impact the peace process of Afghanistan.
According to Mussazai, Pakistan has welcomed this request of Afghanistan and expressed its support to it, he added that it is expected that Zalmai Rassul Minister of Foreign Affairs leave for Saudi Arabia and participate at the summit of leaders Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC).
At this summit the Afghan Foreign Minister will ask the world Muslims to declare their support to the peace process of Afghanistan.
