Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai appreciated the victory of the Afghan Cricket team by defeating the Kenyan team and finding its way into the World Cup 2015 and the youth cricket team at a gathering at the presidential palace.
President Karzai congratulated the team members and the teenage cricket team which were able to defeat Kenyan team having 114 years of cricket background and the youth cricket team that defeated Malaysian cricket team in UAE matches.
He praised the victory of both the teams and wished them further success in upcoming matches.
At the end of this gathering President Karzai in order to appreciate the services of the cricket teams, their coaches and the cricket federation chairman presented to them the high state medals of Mirbacah Khan and a two-room apartment house at the Khwaja Rawash project and afs 100,000 cash bonus.
