Crime Drops Down In Kabul: Rahimi

Kabul (BNA) The cases of criminal activities have fallen down in the capital city Kabul over the past two weeks, Kabul province chief General Abdul Rahim Rahimi said.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, General Rahimi added that the criminal activities have been reduced by 50 percent over the past two weeks and police were able to roundup 266 people in and around Kabul over the period on charge of carrying illegal arms, selling drugs, robbery and kidnapping. He also added that a four member gang of kidnappers was also busted during the past two weeks and military uniforms, several faked car plate registrations has been discovered from their possession.
Three terrorists from same family were also arrested over the said period and police discovered arms and ammunitions including sticky bombs from their house during the operation, the Kabul police chief added.
