Police Officers Accused For Negligence On 3rd Day of Farkhunda’s Judicial Session

Kabul (BNA) Judicial session for addressing Farkhunda murder case continued for the third day.
On third day of the judicial session, a tasked advocate made a claim for those police officers and personnel who have been accused of work negligence and did nothing to save Farkhunda.
The tasked advocate claimed that police officers on deputy in security posts in vicinity of Shah-i-Do-Shamshira Shrine were not able to take necessary step against mob, adding that their district police chiefs also neglected in their duties.
The tasked advocate also asserted that police officials of the respective PD even could not send a fire fighter vehicle to the scene for saving Farkhunda from the mob.
Head of the judicial session said that in consideration to perplexing case, a large number of papers and accused individuals have caused that addressing process of the case take time and continue for few more days.
Farkhunda was killed in accusation of setting into fire a copy of Holy Quran by a mob on 19th of March, but later it was clarified that the copy of the Holy Quran had not been set into fire.
