KABUL (BNA) Abdul Qadir Ahmad, Second Deputy of Da Afghanistan Bank, in a meeting with representatives of the Child Protection Department, called for the transfer of international humanitarian aid through the country’s banking system.
In the meeting, Abdul Qadir Ahmad, the bank’s second deputy director, stressed the need for coordination between government departments and aid organizations, saying that the transfer of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan through the banking system would be more effective, Da Afghanistan Bank said in a press release.
The officials of the Child Protection Department informed about their activities in Afghanistan and asked for the cooperation of Da Afghanistan Bank in financial and banking issues.
Efforts to attract international humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan have intensified.
Many countries and aid organizations have already pledged to help address the humanitarian and economic situation of the Afghan people.
However, the Islamic Emirate has always emphasized that this assistance must be provided in coordination with government institutions
