Kabul (BNA) Three armed insurgents were killed, one wounded and 11 others were detained by national police forces.
According to interior ministry press office, in 24 last hours, the national police forces with cooperation of national army, national security and coalition forces conducted operations in the outskirts of Helmand, Urozgan, Khost and Farah provinces, in which three armed insurgents were killed, one wounded and 11 others were detained.
In these operations, a quantity of light and heavy arms consists of 5 Kalashnikovs, 2 PK machine guns, a pistol, 30 mines, 3 sets of communication, 759 kg of narcotic, 188 kg of Ammoniums Chloride, 27 heavy arms’ shells, 466 light arms shells and 3 vehicles were seized by national police forces, said the source.
It is said that the national police personnel, discovered and defused 5 gallons full of explosive device, 5 mines, a BM-1 rocket and a rocket launcher which were placed for terrorist activities in the vicinities of Kandahar, Logar, Khost and Herat provinces.
