Tele-Communication Tax To Be Collected As Transparent, Minister

Kabul (BNA) Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MoCIT) Abdurrazaq Waheedi detailed about ten percent tax imposed on subscribers, BNA reports.
In a briefing held on the same occasion, MoCIT said that to maintain transparency in the process of collecting serviceable tax, in collaboration with communicational companies, new mechanisms were established that according to presidential decree, the role of MoCIT is definite as supervisor and provider of facilitation.
He said that his ministry has established a new supervisory system and now the complete system of management of timer is in our disposal that can collect the detailed information about subscribers of communication services and market activity.
We joined this system with communication companies and every money which is paid as the tax of communication services is transferred to government treasury as a transparent manner, as in first week of Mizan month, Afs. 78223000 has been collected and poured into government treasury through this system.
MoCIT added that his system works in a manner that the subscribers of communication services can transmit the information about the number of credit card, serial number card of added sum through 997 to the system. As a self-service, the system assures that your serviceable taxes were collected by government. Likewise, MoCIT detailed about different fields of this mechanism and answered the questions raised by journalists.
