Kabul (BNA) Three people have been assassinated including two military personnel, in two separate incidents in Kabul yesterday.
Ferdows Faramarz Kabul police spokesman told BNA that two military personnel, Zabihullah and Samiullah, had been assassinated by unidentified gunmen in Kajal village in the 8th district of Kabul.
Faramarz said the identity of the third person had not yet been determined.
But the two incidents are being investigated by a joint security team.
Targeted assassinations have risen to unprecedented levels in the capital and other provinces in recent months.
Meanwhile, a member of the Kandahar City Court of First Instance was assassinated by unidentified gunmen on his way home from a mosque after prayers yesterday evening.
