On The Occasion of 88th Establishment Anniversary of Anis National Daily

Wednesday, May 06, 2015
Kabul (BNA) Founded by Ghulam Mahiuddin Anis, a known writer in 1927, the government-run Anis National Daily entered its 88th year.
During this long period, the daily could find its position among its readers and enthusiasts in all sections.
Anis National Daily is a famous newspaper in Afghanistan, and the paper has always acted nationally since it got operational.
The Daily publishes the countrywide events without any deficiency that is why the people are always interested to have a copy every day.
It has merit to mention, despite progresses made in the field of information, the government dailies have always had challenges ahead of their activities, the most important is lack of proper printing tools, though, they have played significant role beside other audio-visual media since the last thirteen years.
Mass media play imperative role in public awareness, as they update the people on events and incidents taking place inside and outside the country.
Experiences suggest that the more the media speed up activities on scientific and research issues, the more the people awareness level gets increased and they will get informed on recent changes. Considering the truths, the media have always been effective in rising awareness among the people in our country, and Anis National Daily is among those print media which has 88 years of experience and could have been printed under any circumstances.
Due to more than three decades of war, Afghanistan was completely damaged in the fields of social, politics, economy and culture, but the media kept playing vital role in reflecting the truth, however, the journalists have been always threatening by powerful individuals, but they didn’t stop working and persisted, as The Anis National Daily with its active staff could also find its position and place among other media in the country.  During the last thirteen years, the government has not paid enough heed to media, and no investment made on them financially or according to required tools which caused them not to change.
Therefore, all government media journalists ask the ministry of information and culture to pay serious attention in regard with improvement of the government media.
Fortunately, Afghanistan has now mass media law under which, 900 print Medias, 300 audio-visual medias and more than ten news agencies are operational throughout the country which could play effective role in institutionalization of speech freedom.
So, the people of Afghanistan expect mass media to be operational under the light of constitution and other enforced laws of the country and consider national interests and Islamic values, as well as reflect the people views based on journalism standards without any discrimination, at the end, we wish all The Anis National Daily staff further success in the field of overall information in the society.

  2. Cheap car insurance may be an excellent alternative
for those along with a number of cars. Seem for insurers that deliver multi-vehicle discount rates.
