Kabul (BNA) The mourning ceremony of Mohammad Yaqoub Sharafat reporter of BNA was held Thursday in Zabul province.
Zabul governor, Besmillah Afghanmal, security commander, heads of government offices, influential figures and Zabul residents were attended in the ceremony. At this ceremony, the message of Minister of Information and Culture, Abdul Bari Jahani was read out by spokesman and media advisor of this ministry, Haroon Hakimi.
In his message, Minister of Information and Culture condemned murdering of Yaqoub Sharafat and asked the security forces to recognize the culprits as soon as possible and submitted them to the court.
The advisor of ministry of information and culture says: It is due a grand meeting to be held hosting by this ministry and the ways of safety of journalists to be sought in it. Governor of Zabul asserted that the threats and violence of enemies of democracy and freedom of expression never be succeeded to make silent the voice of freedom of expression in throat.
He added: It is planned a school to be nominated in the name of Mohammad Yaqoub Sharafat in capital city of Zabul.
The governor of Zabul said that the security organs were tasked to recognize the culprits of murdering of this journalist and arrest them.
