Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai strongly denounced a recent US airstrike in eastern province of Kunar, which has killed and injured several civilians.
According to reports, a foreign forces air strike in Badel valley of the Narang district of Kunar province killed 11 people including two children and two women and injured 12 others. The president directed the office for administrative affairs to send a delegation to the area to probe into the incident.
President Karzai in a telephonic conversation with the provincial governor instructed him to provide support for families’ of the victims.
An official source in the province said that five men, three women and four children were among the wounded.
