Kabul (BNA) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met yesterday with foreign minister of Norway Borge Brende and his accompanying delegation at Sapidar Palace.
According to presidential press office to BNA, in the meeting, the Norwegian minister of foreign affairs while congratulating chief executive post and formation of national unity government to Dr. Abdullah Abdullah declared the support of his country from this government.
Foreign minister of Norway expressed his happiness as national unity government successfully carrying out its works, wishing further success to this government and Afghanistan.
In his return, Chief Executive Officer of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan while welcoming the Norwegian minister of foreign affairs to Afghanistan praised the country for its support and cooperation with Afghanistan. In the meeting, both sides exchanged views and discussed on cooperation with national unity government, reforms in electoral system of Afghanistan, extension of bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Norway, cooperation of Norway with NATO in Afghanistan, peace process in the country and relations with neighboring countries.
