Kabul (BNA) Sixteen armed rebels killed in a clearing operation carried out by national army troops in Helmand province.
Defense ministry press office said BNA, the national army forces conducting a cleansing operation to establish stability and peace in Mosaqala district, Helmand province, killed 16 armed rebels.
A quantity of heavy and light weapons was seized in the operation.
Also the national army troops conducted an operation in center of Paktia province and arrested a Taliban commander along with a quantity of weapons and ammunition. T. Suraya-Yarzada
