Air Security Responsibility Handed Over To Afghan Security Forces

Kabul (BNA) ANA air corps commander in a ceremony held yesterday for transition air security responsibilities to Afghan air force insisted that an air class would be formed within the country’s defense forces.
In the ceremony held on this occasion in Kabul, Afghanistan Air Force Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Mohammad Dawran considered taking air security responsibilities by the country’s security forces as an effective step towards self-sufficiency of security.
Despite of hinting related to a range of changes in the country’s air forces, the air force commander said after formation of national unity government, unprecedented changes had occurred in the country, stressing on capacity building of Afghan security forces. Gen. Dawran asked the country’s air force to nurture creativity and initiative by taking security responsibilities and not to ignore education, order and discipline.
