Kabul (BNA) Afghan national army forces carrying clearing operations discovered and defused 59 different kinds of mines from relevant areas of Kandahar province.
Atal 205 unit chief said BNA, the operation launched under the code name of Chamto (ready) one week earlier in five districts of Kandahar province so far 59 different kinds of mines discovered and seized.
The source added, in the operations the national army forces had no casualties while the armed insurgents sustained heavy casualties.
The source claimed, the operation will continue till the complete elimination of Taliban in the region.
