Kabul (BNA) A mother and child care hospital was inaugurated in eastern Nangarhar province.
The 50-bed hospital had been built in relevant areas of Ghani Khail district, Jalalabad-Torkham highway by financial support of Germany with a sum of 39 million Afghanis.
An in-charge in public health department of Nangarhar told BNA reporter, by inauguration of the hospital mortality of mothers and children would be decreased in the area.
Before that pregnant women were forced to pass a long distance to reach in a medical center, the source added.
The hospital is equipped with advanced medical tools and treating 50 patients in a time.
