“Night operations, home searches home Afghan people’s confidence towards foreign forces” President Karzai

Kabul (BNA) in a telephonic conversation President Karzai and US President Barack Obama agreed that talk be held on the concerns of President Karzai and the presence of the foreign forces in Afghanistan’s villages.  It was stated and greed in the conversation that President Karzai and President Obama further discusses this point.  The issue of withdrawal of foreign forces from the Afghan villages had been taken up in his meeting with the US Defense Secretary following the incident in the Panjwayee district of Kandahar and meanwhile the relatives of the martyrs of this incident asked for vacating the villages by the foreign forces.  in his meeting with the US Defense Secretary, President Karzai stressed that night operations and home searches, has harmed the trust of the people of Afghanistan towards foreign forces and there is need that this is revived anew.  President Karzai reiterated that this is possible when the international forces respect the religious and cultural values of the people of Afghanistan, and no foreign troop enter into Afghans home and all attention should be focused towards reconstruction of Afghanistan and economic cooperation.
