President Ghani Praises Germany For Contribution To Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met with German Minister of Development Gerd Müller at the Presidential Palace yesterday.
In the meeting, Mr. Müller while considering leadership of Afghanistan’s new government as hopeful for the country’s future said that efforts made for formation of the new government and economy of the country have created hopes to Germany and Europe in connection with Afghanistan.
Müller added that the following year would be the first century of cooperation between Afghanistan and Germany. In return, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said, the first century of the cooperation between the two countries would be highly celebrated. The country’s President while praising Germany for its contributions to Afghanistan said the assistance was effective for Afghanistan. Both sides also discussed on particular technical assistance for Afghanistan future in various sectors as water and energy, economy and women. At the end, it was decided that the two countries’ delegations would soon gather in near future for implementation of the assistance.
