KABUL (BNA): Acting Refugees and Repatriation Minister, Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqani, in a meeting with Deputy governor of Takhar Mawlavi Khal Mohammad, called for the identification of fundamental issues facing migrants by the authorities of that province.
In a meeting, the Acting Minister shared details about the recent returnees and activities carried out by local authorities in Takhar.
Minister Haqani urged local officials in Takhar to thoroughly investigate and identify the problems of repatriates and collaborate with the central authorities.
According to head of Refugees Affairs of Takhar province, approximately two thousand returnees’ families have been registered in that province so far.
