A Glimpse At War And Peace Talks’ Outcomes

Tuesday May 30, 2017

Kabul (BNA) Since its creation and gradual development, the principles of international relations require the governments and nations to get closer more than before and achieve their legal rights according to political dialogue.
The principles of international relations are usually discussed and scrutinized in four important political, social, economic and cultural fields. In this article we discuss and asses the consequences of Afghanistan peace talks from the political point of view. Restoration of a dignified peace and stability is one of the key issues for Afghanistan. During the over three decade’s wars and devastating conflicts, Afghanistan has left behind plenty of socio-political problems as even in current democratic stage is still burning and bleeding. It’s more astonishing that in this stage, Afghanistan has been hosting US-led international co-elation to achieve its missing, reliable peace and stability.
Over half and one decade has elapsed since the deployment and presence of these forces in Afghanistan but the Afghans have not tasted peace and security and living in insecurity, wars killing and terror. Territorial integrity, national security and interests and reliable peace and stability have been facing with the most-strong challenges.
The past political systems had failed to complete political dialogue for restoration of peace and stability aimed at protection of territorial integrity, national unity and interests which are its top goals. Two reasons could be distinguished here: One, the government has always used flexibility and meekness with challenge causing countries and the second in their reciprocal reactions these crisis creating countries have always been playing double face roles with Afghanistan and expressed overt friendship and covert hostility. Every time that Afghanistan declined to Russia, China, India, Pakistan has been seeking its interests in Afghanistan socio, political and economic disorder. Pakistan has always undertaken creation of challenges and disturbing security that has caused many hardships to our people and country. This has caused Afghanistan diplomacy to face deadlock before Pakistan for achieving elimination of a relative security,.
Pakistan double standard policies in its history of long diplomacy with Afghanistan have been frankly reflected that Pakistan cannot be a reliable partner and supporter. In the course of talks and diplomacy we have repeatedly tested their hypocritical policies. We have gained no expected results. All these evident show that Pakistan are present require in all Taliban fronts against the afghan government. While people are the man’s victims of war and annually thousands innocent people are killed or injured. It confirms that clear outcomes of war and peace in Afghanistan leave the first real impacts on the life of Afghan citizens. Although the people don’t know the details of peace process but they know that Taliban would not be satisfied to peace without concession and secret deal.
They have been fighting so long years and would be fighting many others ahead. If the Taliban don’t return to peace without taking concession and don’t attend peace talks table, what does the Afghan government have considered for them? What are possible concessions and privileges for Taliban? Taliban have frankly requested the Afghan government with drawl of foreign troops (an impractical request) implementation of Islamic Shariaa in Afghanistan, release of prisoners. Whether the government would do it? These are preconditions of Taliban for talks while their demands for peace is not clear. But a qualified management who would manage to well adapt intensification of military pressure, use of all capacities for talks, would pass over current barriers to open a road towards reliable peace in the country. The main requisites of this management is exploitation of high political intellectuality and avoiding emotional and factional approaches. Taliban must not be seen as an ethnic group liable to be boycotted. Military pressure should be strong and merciless. Peace door should be kept opened to show the government is not against peace.
