FARAH (BNA) Security officials destroyed more than 500kg of expired spices and edibles in that province, on Friday.
Mullah Muhammad Anwar Perrwaz, a local official in Farah province, told BNA that Security forces in Farah collected and destroyed 500kg of expired food and spices from the market shops during a survey.
He added that no one is allowed to sell expired medicine and foods and that violators will be dealt with legally.
The health team of Farah province visits and monitors pharmacies and shops in all districts, including the center of Farah, and collects expired medicines and food and then burns them in a special place, he said.
