Kabul (BNA) At least eight Taliban fighters were arrested by Afghan security forces in eastern Kunar and Nangarhar provinces within the last 24 hours.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in Sylab army corps told BNA reporter, the militants were busy on organizing a series of terrorist and destructive activities that targeted and arrested by Afghan security forces.
The arrested rebels in their primary investigations confessed to that they have participated in dozens terrorist activities carried out by Taliban group in various parts of Kunar and Nangarhar province.
According to another report, three fighters of Taliban have joined peace process in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces.
