Second VP Meets French Ambassador To Kabul

Kabul (BNA) French ambassador to Afghanistan, Zhan Michael Marlo called on Second Vice-President, Sarwar Danesh here yesterday. Presidential press office said BNA, during the meeting; the ambassador described holding presidential elections and formation of National Unity Government (NUG) as success of Afghans and assured his country’s support to Afghanistan. 
Expressing gratitude to the government and people of France over its contribution to Afghanistan stressed for further enhancing relations between the two countries. The vice-president also noted that Afghan government is eager to get benefit from French experiences in good governance and strengthening judiciary in Afghanistan. 
According to another report, the second vice-president also received a delegation of cultural association of Nawandishan in his office the other day.   Lauding the role of the youths in 1393 elections, the second vice-president said that he is hopeful the merit would be taken into account and the youth from across the society to have presence in the country’s cabinet. 
The delegation besides thanking the vice-president for giving time advocated for the participation of youths especially from deprived minorities to the administrative sectors and providing scholarships to study abroad. According to another report, a delegation of elders from Jaghori district of Ghazni province called on the second vice-president and briefed him about their problems.  The vice-president during the meeting besides congratulating Hussain Ali Karimi over his achievement as top student among thousands of students in Poona University of India encouraged him for further study and getting more knowledge.
