President Ghani Lauds Seriousness, Coordination of 6:30am Meetings

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani chaired the 6:30 am security meeting here at the presidential palace on Saturday morning, where officials presented their reports from various sections, a statement said yesterday.

After hearing the officials’ reports, the President praised the work, seriousness and coordination of the 6:30 am sessions, and thanked the First Vice President for his management and coordination among the various institutions in Kabul, the presidential palace statement said.

President Ghani said that by improving coordination between departments, the reputation of police has increased, the municipality is carrying out its work with seriousness and determination, and that the functions of the provinces have better improved.

The President, as quoted in the statement, called the 6:30 am session one of the model sessions, saying that this session has created a narrative for Kabul, adding that it should be strengthened and implemented throughout the country.

At the end of his speech, President Ghani said that the security of the four districts around Kabul has improved, significant progress has been made in the fight against serious crimes and close coordination has been established with the Attorney General Office. The president also said that there has been tangible progress in following up of every cases and addressing the families of martyrs.
