Taliban Insurgents Killed, Wounded in Baghlan Clashes

Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) Forty-eight insurgents were killed in Baghlan in the past 24 hours and 58 insurgents were wounded.

The 217th Pamir Corps told BNA that the Taliban were killed when they attacked several positions of the country’s defense and security forces in the central Baghlan district of Baghlan.

Fifty-eight Taliban insurgents were wounded in the incident, and four Taliban insurgents were among those killed, the source added.

It is said that six strongholds, two vehicles, three motorcycles, two mortars, twenty-eight miles of various weapons and a large amount of ammunition were destroyed in the clashes.

It should be noted that clearing operations are underway in parts of the central Baghlan district from the ground and air.
