Kabul (BNA) two armed insurgents were killed in a cleansing operation conducted by ANA forces in Paktika province yesterday.
National defense ministry press office said BNA, the operation carried out for elimination of insurgents in outskirts of Yousofkhail district, Paktika province, in which 2 armed insurgents were killed and five others wounded.
According to another report, two armed militants were killed and three others wounded in a cleansing operation carried out by ANA forces in Mayaneshen district, Kandahar province.
Another operation carried out by ANA forces in Zormat district, Paktia province a rebel was killed and two others wounded.
In the operations, a quanity of heavy and light weapons were seized by ANA forces.
