Hassanzada Visits Bamyan’s Historical Monuments

Kabul (BNA) Deputy Minister of Information and Culture on Publication Affairs, Simeen Hassanzada visited Buddha Statues, Zahak and Ghulghula cities which are part of cultural monuments of the world.
The deputy minister told BNA: “Bamyan is one of our historic and ancient provinces of the country and presence of historic and valuable monuments such as Buddha status, Ghulghula and Zhahak cities and dozens of other monuments shows our cultural identification.
She asked the government to consider the country’s historical monuments and allocate further budget for their renovation.”
Ms. Hassanzada added it was important for the locals to pay consideration to the historical monuments and participate in preservation of the monument, asking for holding programs in which Bamyan people aware of values of the historic monuments of the province.
