Ministry of Economy and AKDN to Address Public Needs in Vulnerable Areas

 

KABUL (BNA) Qari Deen Mohammad Hanif, the Acting Minister of Economy, in a meeting held discussions with Dr. Najmuddin Najm, the executive director and coordinator of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).

The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and AKDN to address the needs of vulnerable areas in civil projects.

During the meeting, Dr. Najmuddin Najm provided valuable insights into the human and developmental activities undertaken by the Development Network Office across 20 provinces in the country.

He assured the continuation of human assistance and developmental aid from the Aga Khan Office to the Ministry of Economy’s leadership.

Expressing his appreciation for the AKDN efforts, Qari Deen Mohammad Hanif acknowledged the significant impact their programs and projects have had on various provinces.

These initiatives have been successfully implemented in collaboration with ministries and sectoral administrations.

Both sides emphasized the importance of prioritizing public needs and focusing on vulnerable areas in the implementation of projects. By directing attention to these areas, the Ministry of Economy and the Aga Khan Development Network aim to ensure that the benefits of development reach those who need it the most.
