Afghan Domestic Airlines Concern Over Approval “Open Atmosphere” Policy

Kabul (BNA) Afghan chambers for commerce and industry have expressed its concern over possible approval of open atmosphere policy for foreign airline companies in the country’s aviation policy. 
It is said Afghan government has decided to expand foreign airline flights to Afghanistan. 
Although Afghan government’s stance has not yet cleared in this regard, but directors for Afghan domestic airline companies in a news conference held on Saturday said if the decision was to be implemented, the Afghan domestic companies would face heavy losses.  While briefing the reporters, Mohammad Qurban Haqjo, general director for Afghan chambers of commerce and industry said, “Afghan government is committed to supporting Afghan domestic private sector, adding if foreign companies get permission in Afghan air; three Afghan domestic companies will probably face with huge losses in the country. 
It is worth mentioning that foreign companies are highly supported by their governments, while Afghan domestic companies are not only supported by their government but also they are facing with various problems as taxes and realities in the country.
