Seminar On ‘Development of Small, Medium Enterprises In Heart Of Asia’ Held

Kabul (BNA)  A one-day seminar titled ‘Development of small and medium enterprises in heart of Asia’ was held yesterday with participation of members of parliament, government officials, economic affairs experts, foreign diplomats to Kabul, knowledgeable figures and universities lecturers, CEOs of economic affairs for Heart of Asia- Istanbul Process members countries and representatives of civil society organizations.
In the seminar held by directorate of regional cooperation for MoFA, deputy minister of political affairs for foreign affairs ministry Hekmat Khalil Karzai while speaking related to importance of the seminar said, “I’m happy that in the seminar held today under the framework of trading, economic and investment opportunities of Heart of Asia-Istanbul process, development of small and medium enterprises was discussed to find proper and new solutions for problems and making use of current opportunities.” He said that security, stability, economic and trading development of Afghanistan could put impact on regional countries and stability and development of the regional countries could put impact on Afghanistan, adding that development and strengthening of small and medium enterprises through expanded economic and trading cooperation between regional countries had key and fundamental role in expansion and economic development of the region. Afterwards, foreign and domestic experts of economic affairs, government officials and members of parliament delivered their speeches in the conference. It is worth mentioning that results and achievements of the seminar will be delivered to Senior Officials Session and foreign affairs ministers’ conference to be held on ninth of December in Islamabad, capital city of Pakistan.
