Aibak (BNA) more than seven million dollars have been spent by Swiss government through poverty reduction program in Samangan province.
Solaiman Khaliqyar, in charge of Afghan-Aid office in Samangan said, the aim of the program which carried out during the last seven years in Samangan, was to improve the life of people, raising the families economy , awareness of people for adopting preventive measures for disasters like floods, earthquake and etc.
Khaliqyar said, during the period, tens of public utility projects funded by Swiss on local governance, social development, health, agriculture and husbandry and adopting anti-disaster measures have been implemented at the cost of seven million dollars aid of Swiss.
He added 62 village development councils in the centers of Ferooz Nakhjer, Khoram -Sarbagh and Hazrat-e- Sultan districts are under the cover of this program.
