Rabbani Meets UAE Counterparts Amid Traders’ Challenges

Kabul (BNA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahudin Rabbani held meeting with his United Arab Emirates (UAE) counterpart Abdullah Bin Zahid Al-Nahyan at the sideline of 42nd conference of the foreign ministers of Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) in Kuwait the other day and exchanged views on matters relating mutual interests, BNA reported.
In the meeting, the foreign minister Rabbani besides thanking UAE over its support to Afghanistan also expressed concern over expulsion of some Afghan businessmen. The UAE foreign minister, in addition to giving assurance that the problems of Afghan businessmen would be reviewed, said that his country besides supporting Afghanistan over the past 14 years is committed to support the country in the years ahead.
According to another report Foreign minister Rabbani also met his Uzbekistan counterpart, Abdul Aziz Kamilov at the sideline of OIC conference in Kuwait and besides changing views on bilateral relations also congratulated president Islam Karimov re-election and stressed for farther enhancing bilateral cooperation in different sectors between the two countries.
