Kabul (BNA) General Mirza Mohammad Yarmand the deputy to interior ministry has said the issuing of electronic ID card will begin from 2nd Hamal 1392, press office of interior ministry said yesterday.
In a meeting attended by officials from several ministries and Kabul Municipality here yesterday, he added that the department of national electronic ID card would begin within the framework of the interior ministry and already 5621 people had given test to be employed by the office to issue electronic ID cards and the process will start from 2nd Hamal 1392.
Meantime, Aimal Marjan the deputy to ministry for communication and information technology in his speech at the meeting called on provincial governors, district chiefs and people to assist in the process.
