Mohaqiq Briefs Iran Visit

Kabul (BNA) The Islamic Republic of Iran agreed to extend the visas of 450,000 Afghan refugees whose visas expires at the end of the outgoing month, this was stated by Hajji Mohammad Mohaqiq, Second Deputy of Chief Executive Officer of the country here the other day.
Mohaqiq who visited Tehran at the head of a high ranking delegation from Qaus 15-18, (6-9) December described his visit as fruitful. He also added that the children of some 1 million Afghan refugees who are living in Iran without residence document, during his visit the government of Iran agreed to allow their children to get enrolment in Iranian schools. Iran, he said also to reduce to half the fee of Afghan students getting education in Iran universities. Mohaqiq also said that Iran would implement its promise to provide 500 scholarships for Afghan students. During his stay to Iran, Mohaqiq also met President Dr. Hassan Rouhani and several cabinet ministers.
