TAPI; Base of Economic Change, Step-Up Towards Peace & Security

Kabul (BNA) The TAPI Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India signed great economic project could get officially kicked off after almost two decades of preliminary layout, by the member countries.
Spokesman for the ministry of mines, Mahiuddin Noori told about the impact of the project that inauguration of the economic great scheme would help security and stability ensured in both Afghanistan and the region. The project would provide a big contribution to the war suffered nation to have an annual income of up to $500 million as well as strengthen cooperation between Afghanistan and the regional countries. “The TAPI project would also provide the ground for revitalization of relations between Afghanistan and the regional countries alongside paving the way for security and stability of the country,” he added. Looking somewhat in doubt over what the house of people believed the Afghans need enough time to see the great project practically kicked off in the country, though the house is optimistic over the economic project and said the official inauguration sent the people of the four countries remain hopeful and make their dreams come true. The country would stay a great transit and goods transportation way between the regional countries and find its transiting into a new chapter of development. But it asked the government for deploying enough security guards to take firm security of the long insecure areas, the pipeline would extend.
“The people of Afghanistan are concerned over the security of the project extended through insecure areas,” the house of people said, while the government assured to ensure the security through deploying special unit of troops and said it was ready for the project. High Peace Council’s opinion was also something resembling to what other government and house of people members believed. It said the great economic project has lured Pakistan to help a real peace talks get restarted between the government of Afghanistan and the armed oppositions. The council is hopeful for the project to help peace restored in Afghanistan, Ismael Qasemyar who is leading the international relations responsibility of the council said, adding the project which is in the interest of Pakistan has made the neighboring country help peace negotiation restarted in the country. Some experts noted that the regional countries should realize they could do anything possible for Afghanistan and stability of the region. Saifuddin Saihoon, an economic faculty lecturer said the project would help the country reach self-sufficiency, through providing works for thousands of unemployed Afghans as well as receive a great income through transit. The project, on the other side would help Afghanistan restore its lost relations with some neighboring and regional nations as well would help peace talks get accelerated, Saihoon believed. Amir Mohammad another political expert said the people of Afghanistan is impatiently waiting for peace restored in the country and the great economic project get practical execution in the poverty-battered country. The four member countries can do their best for economic development of their countries and the move would help security restored in Afghanistan. The plan is a step towards security and stability of Afghanistan and would help relation between the member-nations strengthened further than ever. Afghan citizens are also optimistic over the project inauguration and said thousands of people would get job opportunity and feel a great positive change in their live through the project’s practical execution. The project agreement was signed between the four countries in Ashgabat, the capital city of Turkmenistan in 2010 and officially inaugurated by the four member countries’ representatives on the ongoing month this year (2015).
