Kabul (BNA) The recent incident in Kunduz city not only caused the concern of Afghan community but the three-day rule of cruel and barbaric Taliban on the city also caused great concern among international community.
The BNA who focus on daily events in the country regarding that heinous and inhumane incident writes the fall of Kunduz to cruel and terrorist and extremist Taliban and their three- day rule they committed crimes that the humanity have not experienced in modern history. They killed, raped, plundered, and destroyed. They committed the crimes alongside terrorists who had come from central Asian Republics, Chechnya, and Pakistan for the destruction of our country and violating our values.
Taliban after run over Kunduz explicitly said that they want to bring Caucasus, Chechnya and other central Asian Republics under their rule and pressure Russia and through intimidation and threat on Chechnya follow their aim, which is getting to Europe. For getting this ambitious aim, they spare no any crime and cruelty against humanity as they proved their barbaric intention in Kunduz by killing, violating human rights specially women rights and plundering and destroying the state owned installations and the homes and properties of civilians.
In spite of that, the fall of Kunduz to Taliban combined with inhumane crimes but also uncovered certain realities and facts that should focus on. First of all, today’s Taliban are not the Taliban of 15 years ago who cried the slogan of collecting weapon, enforcing Sharia law and ending the so-called corruptions. Today the Taliban are following a greater project that should be implementing outside Afghanistan.
Although, the Kunduz incident shocked Afghan people but also at same time caused serious concerns in regional and international levels. The United Nations secretary general condemned the incident and crimes committed Taliban, India expressed concern, even Pakistan the main supporter of Taliban in a dramatic show called the Taliban’s crimes unsustainable and European Ambassador to Kabul emphatically called the Kunduz as a source of concern.
He added, our understanding from terrorism in Iraq and Syria was a mistake so we should deal in Afghanistan with responsibility.
The German high consul in Mazar – i-sharif said that the world watch the situation of Kuduz and north Afghanistan with great concern.
The US defense ministry that have troops in Afghanistan after the incident by conducting air strikes shared in cleansing operation launched by Afghan forces for eradication of Taliban in Kunduz.
The world community now knows that terrorism and extremism is a great threat and challenge to the world. Therefore, they should join hands for complete eradication of this evil phenomenon and exert pressure on Pakistan specially its intelligence to end supporting the cruel and merciless group that violates all humane norms and threat not only Afghanistan but also the region and entire world.
