Trenkot (BNA) Fourteen Taliban insurgents were killed in clashes with security forces in Urozgan.
The Taliban were targeted last night when they attacked several military checkpoints in Dehrawood and Charchino districts in the outskirts of Ttenkot.
The media office of Atel Army Corps in south of the country said in a press release said that fourteen armed Taliban were killed in the clashes.
The security forces say it has seized several Taliban-armed weapons at the end of the clashes.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the matter.
