Takhar (BNA) Twelve Taliban insurgents were killed in Takhar yesterday evening.
The 217 Pamir Corps told BNA that the Taliban were killed in an airstrike in Chah Ab district of the province.
The source added that two key Taliban leaders were among those killed, and that six other Taliban insurgents were wounded in the attack.
The source added that some Taliban ammunition and one of their bases were also destroyed in the attack.
