Kandahar (BNA) Twelve Taliban insurgents have been killed in clashes with security forces in Kandahar.
The clash took place last night when a group of Taliban attacked a security checkpoint in Zheri district.
Media office of Maiwand Corps in the southwest of the country said in a press release that 12 Taliban insurgents were killed in the clashes.
According to reports, during the Taliban attack, the air force intervened and targeted a number of attackers.
