Kabul (BNA) A research report provided by Center of Strategic Studies, Afghanistan indicates that the unregistered Madrassa or religious seminaries promote extremist thoughts.
Expressing concerns over the issue, the entity has warned the unregistered madrassa would gradually turn into potential threat if the government doesn’t monitor their activities.
Talking with 306 teachers and seminaries of 50 religious seminaries in 10 provinces, the senior researcher of the Institute for Strategic Studies of Afghanistan Mohammad Mohaqiq has found the fact the teaching materials in religious seminaries and teaching programs can’t respond modern world’s needs.
The survey said that 14 percent of the interviewees didn’t rule out the link of the religious seminaries in foreign countries.
