Kabul (BNA) A woman was killed and two kids were injured after a mortar hit a compound in Khanabad district of northern Kundoz province on Sunday.
Hayatullah Amiri district governor of Khanabad says the mortar was fired in the clash between two illegal armed groups fighting each other since a week, adding that central government has not done enough to atop the fighting which extended to eighth day. Previous reports suggest that both sides engaged in fighting have also suffered casualties in the exchange of fire.
