Kabul (BNA) The International Handicraft Day and solidarity with craftsmen was observed yesterday, BNA reported.
In a meeting here, the head of central council of the craftsmen, Hasan Sapahi said that the income of handicrafts export to foreign countries had reached 169 million US dollars last year.
The deputy to Kabul Mayor, head of chamber of commerce and industries and the director of revenue office with the finance ministry also spoke on the occasion.
Later on appreciation letters were given to the successful craftsmen.
